Deloris Jean Smith, age 80 of Marceline, died Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at University Hospital and Clinics in Columbia. Deloris was born at Keytesville, Missouri on August 24, 1935 to Richard and Edith (Drew) Pearman.
Deloris had worked as a secretary at the University of Missouri and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She is survived by two sons, John E. Smith, Keytesville and Donald R. Smith, Wentzville, sister Joann and Dennis Conner, Centerview, MO, eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and son Christopher Palmerin III.
Memorial services will be held at 7:00 PM Sunday, January 10, 2016 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Marceline. Arrangements are under the direction of Delaney Funeral Home, Marceline.
