Mary Fidelis Miller Lohmar was born on July 20,1917 in Marceline, MO, and passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, in Lexington, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents, G.I. & Genevieve Miller, her husband, Edward August Lohmar, a daughter, Julie Margaret Lohmar, a great grandson, Salvatore James Acciardo, and several brothers and sisters. A long time resident of Marceline, MO, Fidelis and Eddie Lohmar were a well known part of the business community with Lohmar’s Rexall Drug Store and The Fashion Pantry, a women’s dress shop. They were members of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. Fidelis is survived by five children, Ann Porter (Jerry) of Pacific, MO; Jane Leake (Richard) of Lexington, KY; Layne Lohmar (Peggy) of Aurora, CO; Martha Gruber (Jack) of Sunny Isles Beach, FL; Ellen Moak (John) of Dallas, TX; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at St. Bonaventure Church, Saturday January 31, at 1:pm. Burial at the St Bonaventure Cemetery. Following interment there will be a lunch at the Knight’s of Columbus.
