James R. Hills, 72, died Sunday, June 28, 2015, in Hesperia, CA.Services were held Saturday, July 11, 2015, at Hillside Chapel. Interment was in Rose Hill Memorial Park and Mortuary, Whitter, CA.He was born November 28, 1942, in Brookfield, son of William B. and Ethel (Hall) Hills.
He graduated from Brookfield High School in 1960. He was an Army veteran and owned and operated his own Construction and Equipment Rental Service for over 40 years.He is survived by his wife, Denise; three children, Jennifer, Daniel and Jamie; three step-children, Ron, Ron and Laura Ruhl; brother, Bill Hills (Chrys), Platte City; sisters, Betty Walters, Brookfield, JoAnn Kelly, Marceline, and Beverly Hoskins (Bill), Ft. Madison, Iowa.He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and an infant son, Joel Ethan Hills.
