Mary Lee Roensch, age 82, of Brookfield, died Tuesday, January 27, 2015, at her home.
A funeral service will be Saturday, January 31, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. at Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home in Brookfield with Pastor Mike White officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery in Brookfield. Visitation will begin Friday at 1:00 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 in the evening. Mary Lee, daughter of Walter and Mary (Shelton) Cothran, was born May 13, 1932, in Memphis, Tennessee. On February 11, 1961, she married Hans M. Roensch, Jr. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church and Daughters of the American Revolution both in Brookfield. Survivors include her husband, Hans M. Roensch, Jr. of the home; three children, Sharon Lee Zdanys of Gladstone, Hans M. Roensch III and wife, Sony of Holts Summit, and Walter Louis Roensch and wife, Mary E. of Pueblo, Colorado; eight grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Fred Roensch and wife, Ann Vaughn of Richmond, Virginia; a sister-in-law, Mary Maurine Roensch of Chillicothe; and several cousins.
