Roberta Ann Ross, age 78 of Marceline, died Thursday, January 22, 2015 at North Kansas City Hospice Care. Roberta was born at Marceline, Missouri on March 18, 1936 to Frederick Alexander and Katherine Grace (Passig) Still. She married Donald H. Ross on December 25, 1954 and he preceded her in death in 1996. Roberta was an owner and operator of restaurants in Marceline, Thomas Hill and Excelsior Springs. She was an avid Royals fan and a Marceline resident all her life. She is survived by two sons, Daniel D. Ross, Marceline and Delmar Ross, Moberly, two daughters, Debra F. Blake, Marceline and Deloris Ross, Keytesville, two brothers, Roy Still, Marceline and Robert Still, Keytesville, three sisters, Judy West, Lola Skinner and Shirley Hornsby, all of Marceline, ten grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Don, son Darrell, daughter Donna, sisters, Floy, Neva, Dorothy and Margaret, and brothers, Raymond and Ray. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday, January 26, 2015 at Delaney Funeral Home in Marceline with visitation from 9AM until time of services Monday. Burial will be in the Peden Chapel Cemetery southeast of Marceline. Memorials may be made to the Peden Chapel Cemetery and these may be left at or mailed to Delaney Funeral Home 1720 N.
