Emery Dale Swope, age 86 of Brookfield, died Friday January 16, 2015 at Life Care Center of Brookfield. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday January 19, 2015 at Rhodes Funeral Home with Reverend Ron McPherson officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am Monday at the funeral home with family receiving friends from noon until time of service. Emery Dale, son of Everin Lee and Sarah Beatrice Sleeter Swope was born on August 02, 1928 in Knob Noster, Missouri. He is survived by his children, Eddie and Ruth Swope and family, Rodney and Kathy Swope and family, Mark and Stephanie Elder and Family; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Emery Dale was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
