Acknowledged as shown below.

“I do hereby certify that this is a true and correct plat of the City of Marceline, Sections 29, 30, 31 and 32, Twp. 57 N. Range 18 W. Linn County, Mo., as surveyed by me this 30th day of November A. D. 1887, and described as follows, to-wit: Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Santa Fe Avenue and the East line of the North West quarter of the North West quarter of Section 82, Township 57 N. Range 18 West, which point of intersection is two hundred and twenty-five (225) feet south of the Northeast corner of said North West quarter of North West quarter; thence from said point of intersection North 58° 35′ West, being the center line of Santa Fe Avenue, two thousand and seventy (2070) feet, to a point which is the center line of Poplar street; thence Southwestwardly at right angles to the center line of Santa Fe Avenue, which is along the center line of Poplar street, three thousand three hundred and sixty-seven (3,387) feet, to a point which is the center of Wells street; thence Southeastwardly at right angles, and along the center line of Wells street, three thousand nine hundred and ninety (8,990) feet, to the center line of Pine street: thence Northwestwardly at right angles, and along the center line of Pine street, five thousand two hundred and twenty-eight (5,228) feet, to the center line of Bisbee street, thence Northwestwardly at right angles and along the center line of Bisbee street, thirty-nine hundred and ninety (3,990) feet, to the center line of Poplar street, thence Southwestwardly at right angles, and along the center line of Poplar street, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-one (1,861) feet, to the center line of Santa Fe avenue; thence South 58° 35′ east, being the center of Santa Fe avenue, two thousand and seventy (3070) feet, to the point of beginning.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

This is to certify that the Santa Fe Town and Land Company, a Corporation, is the owner of the lands described hereon, except the Right of Way and Yards of the Chicago, Santa Fe and California Railway. That the width and length of the avenues, streets and alleys, together with the size of the lots and blocks are correctly indicated on this plat, which is drawn to a scale of 300 feet to one inch as noted thereon; That the avenues, streets and alleys are hereby dedicated to the use of the Public: That the avenues and streets which are produced and extended on this plat beyond the land described and platted hereon are on land belonging to the said Santa Fe Town and Land Company, and that the said produced and extended avenues and streets are extended for, and are hereby dedicated to the use of the public.

In Witness Whereof, the said Santa Fe Town and Land Company has caused this instrument to be signed and sealed by its President this 16th day of January A. D. 1888.

On this 18th day of January, 1888, before me appeared James T. Ritchie to me personally known, who being by me duly sworn did say that he is the President of the Santa Fe Town and Land Company, and that the seal affixed to this instrument is the corporate seal of said Corporation, and that said instrument was signed and sealed in behalf of said corporation by its President by authority of its Board of Directors and the said James T. Ritchie acknowledged the execution of said instrument to be the free act and deed of said corporation.

In Testimony Whereof, I do hereby set my hand and affix my Notarial seal and the day and year above written.
